What Accent Wall Planner does and does not collect, and the advertising choices you have.

The short version

Accent Wall Planner is a free tool that runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no logins, and no server that stores what you type. The wall dimensions and layouts you enter are used only to draw your plan on your own device and are never sent to us or anyone else. The one thing the site remembers is your light/dark theme choice, and — like most free tools — it is supported by advertising, described in full below.

Information the site stores

  • Theme preference. When you switch between light and dark, that single choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under the keytheme. It never leaves your device and is only read to avoid a flash of the wrong theme on your next visit. You can clear it any time from your browser settings.
  • Wall and layout inputs. Everything you type into the planner is processed on your device to compute and draw the plan. It is not transmitted, logged, or stored on a server. Closing the tab discards it.
  • No account data. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal information to use the tool, and there is no sign-up.

Cookies and advertising

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense and its partners. To make this work, the following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Other third-party ad networks or vendors, if used, may likewise place and read cookies to measure and serve advertising. Any such network in use will be named here.

Your advertising choices

  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The planner itself will keep working without advertising cookies.

Where required, a consent message will ask for your choices about personalized advertising before such ads are served. If you do not consent, you may be shown non-personalized ads instead, which use cookies only for frequency capping, aggregate reporting, and fraud prevention rather than to build an advertising profile.

Children's privacy

Accent Wall Planner is a home-improvement tool intended for adult homeowners and DIY hobbyists. It is not directed to children under 13, and it is not a child-directed site under COPPA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
